BMW
Z3 M Coupe
"There are good reasons you don't see many
cars like the M Coupé on the road, and they
start becoming apparent the first time one
squeezes into the driver's seat of this
little two seater and spends an hour or so in
its confines, looking upward at almost every
other vehicle on the road and feeling a
little like an ant in an elephant parade.
But to understand why folks willing to suffer
the impracticalities of vehicles like this
seem so often to be smiling, one needs to
take that same test drive with the top down,
on a day when the sky looks too blue to be
real, the air is clear and clean-and you're
not following a bus. It's times like those
that cars like this are about."
This journalist is right. The fact you do not
often see such hardcore cars is why it is so
exciting to shoot.
